Alex Gray strikes winner for Witheridge against Camelford in Peninsula League
FOOTBALL
A LONG-RANGE, injury-time strike by Alex Gray gave Witheridge a third win under Chris Vinnicombe.
But it needed some harsh words from the new manager at half time before they could complete a 2-1 win at Camelford who went into the game hoping to go top of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League premier division.
The home side took the lead in only the third minute when Steve Avery handled in the area and Mark Gusterson scored from the penalty spot.

Midway through the first half, Jordan Charran cut in from the left to bend in his 12th goal of the season for Witheridge.
Then, deep into injury time, Gray blasted home to lift his side into the top half of the table.
Vinnicombe said: "It was a bit disappointing in the first half but we went in at half time and had a few choice words.
"It was a well-deserved three points, especially on the second-half display."
Witheridge have been drawn at home to Ivybridge Town or Plymouth Argyle in the quarter-finals of the Devon St Luke's Cup.
