Ambitious Parkway add Coombes to their squad
PLYMOUTH Parkway will give a debut to former Plymouth Argyle striker Lewis Coombes when they entertain Torpoint Athletic at Bolitho Park tomorrow (3pm).
Coombes has been recruited from St Blazey where he was the Blaise Park outfit's top scorer with 22 goals.
"Lewis is a good signing for us. He certainly improves the striking options in our young squad," said Parkway boss Wayne Hillson.

Coombes could be joined by Saltash midfielder/defender Gavin Coulton, who is considering a move to a side who have applied to move up the pyramid if they finish in the top two this season.
One blow for Parkway is the absence of imposing central defender John Heveran, who is still struggling with a knee injury while winger Dan Griffiths requires a late fitness test on a groin problem.
Torpoint have Dan Chapman unavailable for the trip across the Tamar and manager Darren Edwards awaits the result of a late fitness test on Matt Budd's groin before naming a starting line-up.
One player definitely back in his squad is new defender Gavin Welsh, who is available after the birth of a baby daughter.

SALTASH United await news on Plymouth Parkway's approach to Gavin Coulton before naming a starting line-up for the difficult trip to in-form Liverton United (3pm).
Coulton would not be the only player leaving Kimberley Stadium if he decides to move, as the Ashes have parted company with long-serving defender Dave Smith.
"Dave's departure is due to his limited availability," said Ashes' boss Stuart Dudley.
"We have agreed to allow him to look for another club and wish him all the best for the future."
Dudley is aware his opponents are in prime form having followed up a 3-0 victory at Parkway with a 6-0 hammering of Ivybridge last weekend – and the Ashes travel without defender Toby Clark who is still struggling with a knee injury.
It has been a long wait, but this could be the game in which midfielder Sam Farrant make his Ashes' debut, one month after signing from Newquay.

LISKEARD Athletic boss Paul Blatchford will rely on the same squad who lost 4-3 at Torpoint when the Blues travel to north Cornwall to take on Newquay at Mount Wise (3pm).
Blatchford would have been hoping for Tuesday's cup game to have beaten the weather, and now faces two away games in four days.

TAVISTOCK have Dan Hart and Paul Quinn both available after missing last week's disappointing defeat to Camelford when they entertain Witheridge at Langsford Park (3pm).
The Lambs might still not have a full strength squad as Jarryd Kelly (knee) and Ian Rooke (calf) are both rated doubtful.
"Our home form has to match our results away from Langsford Park if we are to finish in the top three," said Lambs boss Ian Southcott.

DIVISION ONE WEST
VOSPERS Oak Villa are hoping goalkeeper Bradley Agar will be fit when they entertain promotion-seeking Wadebridge Town at Weston Mill (3pm).
Agar suffered a knee injury 20 minutes from the end of last weekend's home defeat by Perranporth and will require a late fitness test to see if he is fit.
One player still ruled out is Dan Follett who is working.

CALLINGTON Town have a full strength squad available for the trip to the north Cornish coast where Perranporth await (3pm).
Town player-manager Lee Beer said: "With all the top teams dropping points, the carrot is still being dangled for a strong finish and a healthier league position."
