Animal charity's fun day success
BLUE Cross Torbay's annual summer open day has raised more than £2,000 for the charity.
Organisers say the event was a great success, with plenty of visitors turning up to enjoy the sunshine while browsing the stalls, tucking into delicious cakes and meeting some of the cats in need of happy new homes.

"Blue Cross doesn't receive any Government funding, so events like this are vital to help the charity to continue their vital work caring for poorly and homeless pets."
All the money raised at this year's open day will go towards the care of the hundreds of cats rehomed through the charity's Torbay centre every year.
