Argyle Legends beaten by North Devon Greens in seven-goal thriller at charity football day
ARGYLE Legends threw away a 2-0 lead as they were beaten 4-3 by the North Devon Greens at Mill Road, the home ground of Barnstaple Town.
The game was the main event of a charity football day which raised £350 in aid of the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer.
The Legends led 2-0 at half-time after goals from striker Bradley Swiggs and midfielder Paul Smith.
However, the North Devon Greens were much improved after the break as injuries to Legends' duo Darren Tallon and Martin Barlow took their toll.
