Attempted robbery charge after building society staff allegedly threatened with knife
A man from Exeter is due to appear before Exeter Magistrates this morning charged with attempted robbery of a building society.
Barry Christopher Little, aged 37, from Topsham road was arrested just after 3pm yesterday after staff in the building society in Cowick Street, St Thomas reported that they had allegedly been threatened by a man with a knife.

He was ejected from the premises before police attended and made the arrest.
He was then interviewed before being charged and kept in custody overnight for court today.
