Auditions for The Gondoliers
AUDITIONS are being held for a production of The Gondoliers.
Plymouth Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship are holding the auditions on Sunday September 30, to be performed from April 9 to 13 next year at the Devonport Playhouse.
The Gondoliers calls for a larger number of soloists than most of the Gilbert and Sullivan light operas, as well as a full chorus, giving scope for singers of all voices. It will be performed under the direction of Alan Spencer, with an orchestra under the direction of Jane Warwick. Anyone wishing to audition needs first to become a member of the Fellowship.

On Saturday October 6 at 7.30pm the company is presenting a concert performance of HMS Pinafore in aid of the RNLI at the Minster Church of St Andrew.
