Autumn foodie events at RHS Rosemoor
SCRUMPTIOUS local food is celebrated at RHS Rosemoor this autumn. Here's what you can look forward to at the Torrington garden.
Taste Of The West Country Food Fest on Sunday, September 22 brings together traditional regional produce and organic foods. It includes locally-reared beef and lamb, handmade cheeses and English wines, plus a wide range of other tasty foodstuffs.
Real Ale And Cider Festival on Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29 will feature a range of interesting, unusual and eminently quaffable real ales from near and far, plus ciders, all served direct from the barrel. There's food and live music, too.
Apple Day on Sunday, October 6 promises to be a great day out for all the family. This autumn a bumper crop is expected so there will be fantastic apple displays; cookery demonstrations and apple recipes; tastings; planting and cultivation tips and talks; children's activities and trails; plus stalls selling fruit, cider and apple juice.
