By popular demand, companies and individuals in Exeter and the heart of Devon have been given an additional two weeks to submit their entries.

Acting editor Paul Burton said: "We're keen to give as many businesses as possible the opportunity to showcase their success stories in this year's Business Awards.
"While it's great to see so many quality entries already submitted via the website, many people have told us they would like to enter but have just been too busy. Last year we found that extending the deadline enabled a lot of strong contenders to get their nominations in, and we're expecting that to be the case again this year."

This year the Entrepreneur of the Year award is being sponsored by Kitsons solicitors. Last year the trophy went to Rex Rozario, founder of Crediton-based printed circuits manufacturer Graphic Plc.
With offices in Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth, Kitsons provides a comprehensive range of legal services with specialists in specific industry sectors and disciplines including company law, employment law, litigation and dispute resolution, insolvency and debt recovery, commercial property, sales, mergers and acquisitions, environmental law, licensing, professional negligence and commercial agreements.
The firm was founded by Torbay entrepreneur and philanthropist William Kitson more than 175 years ago with a vision "to provide an incomparable service for our customers, at an honest price".
Dominic Hollingsworth, partner and head of the firm's corporate team, said: "We're proud to begin our association with the Exeter Business Awards and in particular the Entrepreneur of the Year award, which demonstrates our commitment and passion for the city, local businesses and entrepreneurship.
"Exeter's ability to produce high-calibre business leaders who are capable of delivering innovative, growing and sustainable businesses has never been as evident as it is today. This award will recognise and celebrate these great success stories."
Kitsons' client base includes many successful owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
Encouraging entrepreneurs and companies to put themselves forward for judging, Dominic said: "If you are running a business it can be a very lonely place because you don't have the opportunity to share experiences with like-minded people very often.
"I'm sure the awards evening will be an opportunity to meet other people in business, look at things a bit differently and get some ideas. There's a lot of doom and gloom around in the media so these awards are an opportunity to celebrate success and show budding entrepreneurs that it's actually a good time to start a business."
