Bail denied for man arrested over knife
A man accused of carrying a homemade machete and kitchen knife in public has been denied bail.
Philip Foster, 54 from Exmouth, was arrested by officers at 12.45am on March 10 at McDonalds on Salterton Road.

He was taken into police custody and charged with possessing an offensive weapon and a knife in a public place.
A spokesman for the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines at Lympstone confirmed that police had informed camp staff about the incident.
