SEVEN Tiverton Harriers competed in the Battle of Sedgemoor 10k race at the weekend.

The course for the road race, which is hosted by Langport Runners, was mainly flat around the villages of Drayton and Muchelney and finished back in Langport. Excellent times were recorded by all Harriers, including a personal best from John Dean.

Alan Walker was leading Harrier home in 37.43, followed by Rob Ewings in 39.00, Martin Brace in 39.49, Steve Selley in 42.20, Dean in 44.02, Steph Moss in 45.25 and Michelle Selley in 51.30.
