Betting shop worker threatened by thief who ran off with 'substantial amount of money'
Detectives are investigating a robbery at a bookmakers in South Devon.
The crime was committed between 9.15pm and 9.20pm on Sunday November 25 when a man walked into the shop on The Strand, Dawlish.

He threatened a member of staff before making off with a substantial amount of money.
He is described as being a white man in his 30s to 40s, 5ft 10 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded coat, dark blue jumper and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

He also wore sandy coloured boots or trainers.
As he left the shop, he may have been in company with a woman in her twenties.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact them.
In particular, they are interested in speaking with dog walkers who may have been exercising their animals in the area at that time of night.
