Bideford battle through cup tie
Appledore 1 Bideford 2 (aet): Bideford battled for an extra-time victory over Appledore in the Brayford Cup first round.
The premier division leaders trailed to a first-half lob from Mike Jones and had Aaron Stevens sent off for two yellow cards before half time.
A shot from Will Nicholls deflected for an own goal off Rob Avery, giving the Robins the equaliser in the last minute of normal time.
And they struck again through Phil Kelly early in extra time, earning a 2-1 win and a trip to North Molton in the quarter-final.
