Adam Crouch secured the bonus point with the fourth try, which came against the run of play in the closing stages.

St Austell's second successive defeat means Bideford could be top of the league this time next week after they have played their game in hand at Honiton.

In Devon One, Torrington were beaten 28-6 at Salcombe but South Molton, playing their first league match since December 15, defeated Topsham 37-12.

Ilfracombe, in Devon Two, were 38-3 home winners over Buckfastleigh Ramblers.
