Big weekend in London for Ashmoor U18
ASHMOOR U18s hockey team are busy preparing for next month's National Indoor Finals in London after winning the West Clubs title in Plymouth.
The U18s' qualification was the highlight of the tournament for Ashmoor, who sent a Men's team as well as Girls' and Boys' teams at U16 level.
The U18s beat Team Bath and Taunton and drew with Isca to secure their place in the finals at Whitgift School, Croydon, on January 19-20.
The men's team beat Truro but lost to Cheltenham and the Navy, while the U16 boys, who were national runners-up last season, were unbeaten in their group but pipped for top spot after drawing twice.
