Blame Blair and co for British lives lost
TONY Blair states that British troops should remain in Afghanistan until all matters are resolved.
Where is this man's loyalty? Certainly not to this country; he does not spend a lot of time here.
Cameron meanwhile pledges that 3,800 troops will be home in 2013. Both these men have commited our forces to wars, not of our making, in support of America.
Jean-Paul Sarte wrote in '64 that "when the rich make war it is the poor who die". Blair and Cameron should take note and act accordingly. Was it not said recently that 1,000 were in line for the unrest in Syria? Let's hope that any troops released from Afghanistan don't find themselves diverted to this hot spot.

The savage government cuts have reduced our armed services to almost bare bones, yet they still see fit to commit them abroad into armed conflict, a waste of British lives.
In view of the findings of gas/oil in the Falklands and Argentina invading, what would Britain be able to send in response? No aircraft carrier, no Harriers, a diminished Navy, five to six weeks' sailing time and an army fully dug in and prepared?
