Blues man sets course record
ENDURANCE specialist John Ward set a course record at the Dartmoor Discovery ultra marathon.
The Bideford Blues athlete completed the 32 miles 674 yards in 3hrs 33mins 36secs, finishing more than ten minutes clear of the field.
Next week he will test himself on another of the South West's most challenging courses, the North Devon AONB Marathon.
Shaun Antell finished second in the opening meeting of the Run Exe Summer 5k Series in Exeter.
