Boca Seniors make it through at last in Devon Premier Cup
BOCA SENIORS held their nerve in a penalty shoot-out at Okehampton Argyle to win through to the last 16 of the Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup.
Jack Jenkins, Mark Gilfillan, Scott Sharp, Adam Copp and Matt Deakin all scored from the spot for a 5-3 shoot-out success in the third round.
After waiting a month to get the tie played, Boca can now crack on with the fourth-round tie, travelling to the University of Exeter on Saturday.
Knocking out teams from the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League has been their speciality since winning the trophy in 2009.

One of the winners from that occasion, Matt Deakin, made the difference at Okehampton, stepping off the bench to fire the North Devon League champions ahead.
Despite a strong defensive display, led by Simon Ovey and Taro Bishop, the visitors were finally undone by an equaliser in the 86th minute.
With no goals in extra time, the match finished 1-1 and Boca sealed a win they dedicated to chairman Brian Fishleigh.
While Boca converted all their penalties, one home player missed, and Deakin stroked in the winner to settle.
