Body found in River Exe during search for missing Tiverton man
The body of a male has been pulled from the River Exe after a search operation for a missing man and his dog.
The Tiverton man, aged in his 70s, was reported missing by relatives yesterday after he went for a walk with his dog.

The search began at 8:45pm yesterday and the Sea King Search and Rescue helicopter from RMB Chivenor was called after the police helicopter was unavailable.
The police and Exmoor Search and Rescue team were involved in the search of the River Exe.
Exmoor Search and Rescue Team's Swift Water Rescue Technicians stood by to help with the recovery, but were not required.
Using an infrared camera the helicopter team found an object in the river which the ground teams confirmed as that of a body at 12:25am.
Next of kin have been informed of the discovery but it is unclear when formal identification will take place.
A dog was found in the area safe and well.
