Body pulled from Tamar confirmed as Plymouth teenager Jordan Cobb
A body that was pulled from the River Tamar has been confirmed as that of missing Plymouth teenager Jordan Cobb.
Jordan jumped from a ferry crossing the river on New Year's Eve, and the body was recovered on January 16.

This morning an inquest was opened and adjourned and the coroner recorded a provisional cause of death as drowning.
The inquest also heard that Jordan was found with headphones in his ears attached to his HTC mobile phone, and was wearing new trainers.

After jumping from the ferry, Jordan was briefly seen to re-surface about 70 metres from the Torpoint side of the river before disappearing from view.
A police investigation is ongoing.
