Body found in search for missing Exeter woman Alma Royle
A body has been discovered in the Pocombe Bridge area of Exeter as police search for missing woman Alma Royle.
Alma Royle, aged 83, was last seen in public on CCTV leaving the Co-Op in Dunsford Road at about 4.30pm on Friday, July 26.
Officers are at the scene of the discovery and will recover the body today.
Police say the identification process will be completed in due course and relatives of Alma Royle have been kept fully informed of developments.

The family of the missing Exeter pensioner said they are now just craving answers as nearly two weeks have passed since she disappeared.
Concern has been growing by the day for Alma Royle and police, volunteers and rescue teams continue to be out searching for her.
Alma, aged 83, was last seen in public on CCTV leaving the Co-Op in Dunsford Road at about 4.30pm on Friday, July 26.
The alarm was raised on July 28 but so far she has vanished without trace.
The focus has been on an area around her home in Heron Way.
Her daughter Louise Johnson said: "She has just vanished."
