Boy, 11, hurt after assault in Dawlish

AN 11-year-old boy has been injured after being assaulted by a group of teenagers in Dawlish.

Police say that around 7pm on Monday the 11-year-old was on his own in Manor Gardens Park when three teenage boys began shouting abuse at him.

They then tripped him up, stamped on his leg and pushed him into the bushes causing some injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or knows who the offenders may be to contact them.

The offenders were described as 15-16 year old white male youths, of average height and size. Two were dressed in dark clothing and hoodies, with a dragon on the back of one. The third male was in trousers and a black plain shirt. All were wearing hi-top trainers.
