Brixham chalet fire 'deliberate'
Firefighters were called to a fire in a derelict chalet in Fishcombe Road, Brixham yesterday.
Two fire crews, from Brixham and Paignton, were called to the scene at 7:43pm and found one chalet well alight and requested the attendance of a further pumping appliance.

A third fire engine from Paignton attended and crews set to work with four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
Watch commander Sean Burnell, from Brixham's retained fire station, said: "When we arrived there was already a well-developed fire.

"The building was a sturdy concrete structure with four chalets, but we managed to contain the fire and stop it spreading to the other chalets."

The chalet was completely destroyed by fire and crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a thermal image camera, a covering jet and small tools to extinguish the fire.
Crews were called at 7.45pm on Monday, March 18 and were still on scene damping down, turning over the damaged remains and checking the scene at midnight.
Fire investigation has been carried out and this fire was started deliberately and police are investigating.
A police spokesperson said: "Four youths were seen running away from the scene."
Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour to contact them on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number FB/13/235.
