Pete Lovett and Neil Jeffery launch SanKalpa Global
SanKalpa Global is the brainchild of business advice experts Neil Jeffery and Pete Lovett, who will offer seminars, workshops and individual counselling based upon the principle of "scientific illuminism" which combines the aims of religion and philosophy with "the methodology of science".
The self-help and self-improvement programme is about "helping people use the law of attraction to achieve their fulfilled life", Mr Lovett said.

“Sue think your being unfair, there is a need for these type of seminars in the south west. Whilst there is a lot of self help bdooks out there there is nothing more motivating than sitting listening to a speaker who you can talk to afterwards. I would definately pay to attend ne of these seminars.”

“I think might be better to go with Eckhart Tolle instead of two local Cheech & Chong Type Business Gurus. At least he has a track record in these matters. Where do we have the write up on their proven track records in the things they wish to teach and sprout to others for money. It is certainly correct that anyone can start a business. Here would seem is a case in point. I rest my case for the prosecution.”

“Certainly the web page does nothing to inspire for two alledged business gurus. Payments via PayPal etc to a gmail account. No company registration number on the website, although is registered with Companies House. Very Amateur Drag and drop productions springs readily to mind, one which I would walk past even on the basis of the web presence. Does anybody know what they are actually offering apart from the 20/80 percent rule? Hope these two are not in the business of advising others how to do things.”

“Many thanks for these comments.....
Rick (always enjoy your gigs) - you're right - it's easy to wander into Waterstones and buy one of those 'self help' books, by the latest 'self help' guru....self help/personal development books indeed count for a massive part of the publishing market ('The Secret' is one of the biggest-selling non-fiction books of recent years)....BUT....and this is a big 'but'....Neil and I believe that they miss key elements in how to really use their book/programmes.
If it was all about simply books/CD's/videos, then we'd all be rich and happy - and they all offer something of value....but they miss one main ingredient: mindset - if you don't want to be helped, or if you feel you can't be helped, then you could spend thousands on these books/programmes and they still won't help.
That's where we come in - Charliedodd, you made a great point, and in retrospect, introducing our concept of 'scientific illuminism' at this stage of the proceedings was a bit naive - Neil and I were trying to make the point that only 20% of any achievement is down to actual technique. The rest (80%) is accomplished through having the right mindset – the belief that you can achieve whatever you want to achieve.
Itar – both Neil and I have done and will continue to offer our services for free, in very particular cases.
Timplymouth – I loved your comment…..Tony Robbins is generally recognised as being one of the world's leading charismatic and motivational speakers, as well as being considered a key 'thought leader' on the subject of personal growth and development. He has coached industry leaders, film stars, Rock stars, alongside people like you and I….and two – count 'em: two - Presidents of the United States. The Robbins Foundation spends tens of thousands of dollars a year, feeding, clothing and counselling homeless people…..
Robbins was once described by a critic as a 'snake oil salesman'. Tell you what, timplymouth, if that's how you see our work, then I'm proud to be associated with the likes of Anthony Robbins.
Once again, thanks for your comments – we found them to be really helpful. Please feel free to join the debate online – we're on Facebook, our Blog is now live and you can follow Sankalpa Global on Twitter

“Sounds a bit like Scientology, a kind of "Church of Jesus Without Jesus", where the blind stay blind, the lame stay lame, and the dead stay that way..:)”

“Its motto is: "The method of science, the aim of religion.", James Wasserman, Practice of the Magial Diary; page 19. The least I can do is to mention your name to a friend after how kind your mind has been to mine.”

“...............alternatively you can buy a "self help" book for £2.99p and cut out these two chancers completely.
After you have read it you too could call yourself a "guru" and advertise your services in the 'erald.

“I wonder if, given that unemployed people are now expected to volunteer their time, this pair will take on unemployed managers and train them for free - thought not. So why should someone work for, say, a care company for nowt when the care company are being paid shedloads?”
