CASE STUDY: Sarah Garside
A MUM-of-two who gained four stone with each pregnancy has said seeing her baby body was a "bit of a shock".
Sarah Garside, 36, from Lower Compton, has two daughters three-year-old Nonie and six-month-old Edie.
Before having her children Sarah was a clothes size 10 and, despite being back in her pre-pregnancy jeans, she said "they don't quite fit like they used to."
"I have always been quite weight conscious so gaining all that weight with each baby was quite a big thing for me. I was lucky with Nonie because the weight just dropped off me, but it hasn't been so quick with Edie and it did get me down a bit," she said.

Sarah, who breastfed both her daughters, said she now looks back at photos of her six months ago and doesn't recognise herself.
She said: "It's quite a shock what pregnancy does to your body.
"Going to put on clothes and they don't fit is horrible, it makes you feel gutted.
"When I look back at my body six months ago after Edie was born, I don't look right.
"I really didn't like my body then but then I look at my girls and think I really shouldn't be moaning, but then I do like to look nice.
"I joined Movin' Mammas after the birth of my first daughter, and then joined again after Edie was born. It's brilliant, I love it.
"It's a way of getting out and exercising without having to worry about childcare, and it's great to meet new people too."
Sarah is now back in her size 10 jeans but said she still has a few more pounds to lose.
