Cancer Research UK search for Campaign Volunteers
Cancer Research UK is currently looking for volunteers, age 18+, from the local Torbay area to support them with a new skin cancer campaign which is due to launch in Torbay on Monday 4th November. The new campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of skin cancer and encourage men age 50+ to visit their GP if they notice any unusual or persistent changes to their skin, because getting skin cancer diagnosed and treated early can make a real difference.
Volunteers will be trained by Cancer Research UK and asked to help raise awareness and encourage early detection of malignant melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer, by going out to a number of local venues and sharing details of their campaign messages.
