Cancer Research UK search for campaign volunteers in Torbay
Cancer Research UK is currently looking for volunteers, age 18+, from the local Torbay area to support them with a new skin cancer campaign which is due to launch in Torbay on Monday 4th November. The new campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of skin cancer and encourage men age 50+ to visit their GP if they notice any unusual or persistent changes to their skin, because getting skin cancer diagnosed and treated early can make a real difference.
Volunteers will be asked to help Cancer Research UK raise awareness and encourage early detection of malignant melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer. All volunteers will be trained by Cancer Research UK, to go out to a number of local venues and share details of their campaign messages.
If you are interested in this opportunity to make a real impact in your local area, and wish to support Cancer Research UK in their efforts to beat cancer sooner, simply call 0203 469 8348 (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm) or visit cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/volunteer for more details.
