Car check vital

A MID Devon garage is urging motorists to give their cars some TLC in order to stay safe on the roads this winter.

Louise Woolacott, who owns Fix Auto Mid Devon, Marsh Road, Crediton, says car tyres, brakes, fluids and lights should all be checked now the colder months are upon us.

The same company also calls for drivers to carry a 'winter survival' bag consisting of items including a shovel, deicer and a blanket.
