Car and cyclist collide on A3022 Brixham Road

Police and emergency services were called to a crash in Churchston Ferrers this morning.

A black Skoda Octavia and cyclist collided at 8:50am, leaving the male cyclist with a suspected broken shoulder and superficial cuts to his head.

He was taken to Torbay Hospital by ambulance with injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

The female driver of the Skoda, which was registered to Paignton, was not injured.

The collision occurred at Windy Corner and caused some traffic delays in the area.

Traffic was directed down Dartmouth road by police until the road was reopened at 9:30am.

Police say they are investigating the collision.
