Car destroyed
FIREFIGHTERS called for reinforcements after being sent to deal with a car fire in Tiverton on Friday, having discovered the blaze had spread to a nearby building.
The first crew discovered the vehicle well alight in Mountbatten Road just before 8pm.
Crews donned breathing apparatus to deal with the incident.
The vehicle was destroyed. The building, which was partially damaged, was cleared of smoke using fans.
