Carl Fletcher takes pressure off loan man Alex MacDonald
MANAGER Carl Fletcher put family before football by leaving on-loan attacker Alex MacDonald out of Argyle's team to play Gillingham.
MacDonald, 22, was allowed to return to the North West of England after the death of his grandmother.

She had passed away on the morning of Argyle's game against Burton Albion at Home Park last Wednesday.
MacDonald started that match but was substituted shortly before the half-hour mark.

Fletcher thought the loan signing from Burnley 'wasn't mentally right' to carry on playing in that game because of the death of his grandmother.
And the Pilgrims boss also took the decision not to select MacDonald against Gillingham.
Fletcher said: "I sent him back (to the North West). I kind of took it out of his hands because I think it was the right thing to do.
"It's not like Plymouth is around the corner from Manchester.
"I wanted him to get back and be with his family and make sure everything is all right there. I will speak to him and see how he's getting on."
Meanwhile, Argyle staged their own Remembrance Day respects before the game against Gillingham.
Buglers from the HMS Drake-based Devonport Royal Naval Volunteer Band played the Last Post before kick-off.
That was followed by an immaculately observed one-minute silence.
Gillingham manager Martin Allen was struck by the respect shown for all those who have died in the line of duty.
Allen said: "It was special being in Plymouth on Saturday. The band before the game were outstanding.
"I enjoyed watching and listening to them. I thought it was a great English occasion for football, to be honest."
