THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

WAYNE CHRISTIAN, aged 37, of George Place, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating – jailed for four months.

DANIEL COLVIN, aged 25, of Wasdale Gardens, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating and criminal damage to a glass door – jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £180 compensation.

RICKY KENNEFORD, aged 20, of Ham Close, Plymouth: assaulting a man by beating him and breach of a conditional discharge – 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work under probation supervision and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

BRIAN MORGAN, aged 32, of Lipson Court, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating, theft of a crate of beer and breaching an antisocial behaviour order by being drunk in a public place – jailed for six weeks.

GARY GARNER, aged 48, of Connaught Avenue, Plymouth: three counts of making off without payment for diesel – 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay compensation of £1,024.

DAVID KNIGHT, aged 31, of Rodda Close, Gunnislake: two counts of theft from shops in Saltash and Callington – jailed for two months.

RUSSELL NORTHAGE, aged 33, of Benbow Street, Plymouth: theft of a sports bag – fined £70, ordered to pay £20 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

DONALD MANN, aged 42, of Wilton Street, Plymouth: concerned in the production of cannabis and theft of an outboard engine worth £3,000 – 12-month community order with 80 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £500 compensation.

SCOTT COLLEY, aged 24, of Salisbury Road, Plymouth: drunk and disorderly – fined £35 and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge.

THOMAS HUGHES, aged 24, of Delamere Road, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 17 months, fined £275, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

ANDRZEJ NALEZNIAK, aged 29, of Albert Road, Plymouth: drink-driving – 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work, banned from driving for 34 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

JONATHAN THOMAS WILSON, aged 22, of Almond Drive, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 20 months, fined £600, ordered to pay £600 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
