THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

PAUL ANDERSON, aged 29, of Austin Crescent, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating her – 12-month community order with probation supervision, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

ALEXANDER GLANVILLE, aged 20, of Ker Street, Plymouth: assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty – six-month community order with 30 hours at an attendance centre and ordered to pay £100 costs.

PAUL KOZLIWSKY, aged 29, of Ince Close, Torpoint; assaulting a woman by beating her and causing criminal damage to a door – 12-month community order under probation supervision with 150 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £195 compensation, £100 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

RAYMOND SAINSBURY, aged 74, of Kitter Drive, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 12 months, fined £180, ordered to pay £80 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

IAIN WILKINSON, aged 31, of St Leonards Road, Plymouth: assaulted a woman by beating – two-year community order with Building Better Relationships Programme, ordered to pay £75 compensation and £85 costs.

ADAM ASHTON, aged 45, of Curtis Street, Plymouth: six offences of making a false instrument – 12-month community order under probation supervision, and ordered to pay £45 costs.

DRINK-DRIVING

COLM BOYLE, aged 52, of Grenofen, Tavistock: drink-driving – 12-month community order with 130 hours unpaid work, banned from driving for 24 months, ordered to pay costs of £80 and £60 victim surcharge.

ARTUR KINIEC, aged 42, of Raglan Road, Plymouth: drink-driving and failing to stop after an accident – 12-month community order with 60 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £300 costs.

GEOFFREY KIRK, aged 45, of Hereford Road, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for three years and ordered to pay £85 costs.

OTHERS

JAMIE BEAUMONT, aged 28, of Tangmere Avenue. Plymouth: criminal damage to the wing mirrors of a car – fined £100, ordered to pay £226 compensation, £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

JOHN WOOD, aged 46, of Park Avenue, Plymouth: using violence for the purpose of securing entry to premises – fined £1,000, ordered to pay £100 costs and £85 costs.

ANTHONY FOX, aged 50, of Park Avenue, Plymouth: breach of an Anti-Social Behaviour order by entering a prohibited area – fined £35 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

    It's making something that can be used for fraud, eg: a tool for removing security tags from clothes /spirit bottles, or an official 'stamp' for passports etc. There are a lot of things where an instrument is used to do something.”
