JOIN in the festive spirit at the Christmas Street Fayres – new to Newton Abbot this year. Enjoy a wonderful evening of late-night entertainment and shopping on both Wednesday December 12 and Wednesday December 19 from 6pm to 9pm.
Queen Street will be closed from Albany Street down to Courtenay Street and Queen Street, Courtenay Street, Market Square and the Clock Tower area will be filled with market stalls, food stalls and entertainers.

AND don't forget Father Christmas in his Clock Tower Grotto from 6.30pm - 8.30pm on both evenings. There is no entrance fee, but voluntary contributions will go towards the Mayor's Charity, which this year is 'Cancer Research UK'.
Each child will have an opportunity to have a chat with Santa and will receive a small bag of sweets.
Parking
PARKING is free in the car parks in Newton Abbot after 6pm each day and on-street parking is free after 5pm. Parking is also free in all car parks (including Asda) and on-street every Sunday.
Short Stay parking is also free Monday to Saturday in the Asda car park (subject to a minimum spend in Asda).
Those who are looking for disabled or parent and child parking, don't forget that as well as there being convenient on-street disabled parking bays around the town – the second floor of the multi-storey car park is dedicated to these uses and further spaces are available in the other car parks. Shopmobility can also be found at the multi-storey car park.
Additional Christmas Shopmobility and Ring & Ride services are: Wednesday, December 12 and 19: Ring & Ride Service for Christmas Street Fayre and late night shopping. Pick-up 5pm & 6pm. Return 8.30pm & 9pm.
