HONITON can relax ahead of their trip to Chelston tomorrow as the East Devon side won the F Division title with a match to spare last time out.

The Mountbatten Park outfit were crowned champions after their nine-wicket defeat of Shaldon.

But the race for second place has gone down to the wire, as only seven points separate Kenn and third-placed Shaldon.

Kenn travel to Exeter Civil Service tomorrow, while Shaldon are at home to lowly Cheriton Fitzpaine.

Shaldon were bowled out for just 70 last weekend as Honiton's Kevin Kelly took six wickets for six runs.

Rob Ingram was the only batsman out in the reply after making his side's top score of 46.

In the other games in F Division tomorrow, Topsham St James will be looking to climb into the top four when they head to Yarcombe & Stockland, Cullompton end a much-improved season at Hemyock and Culmstock host Newton St Cyres.

Tiverton & Bickleigh's slim hopes of avoiding relegation from D Division hinge on a trip to Feniton.

They need to take 11 points more than Uplyme & Lyme Regis manage from their game at home against Ottery St Mary, while also doing better than Whitchurch do against promotion-chasing Ashburton.

Halberton & Sampford Peverell end their season at home against Ipplepen, who have a slim chance of overtaking Ashburton and going up in second place.

Whimple will secure the E Division title if they take four points or more from their home game against Babbacombe, with fellow promoted side Countess Wear needing a maximum points haul at home against Kingskerswell to keep the pressure up.

Like Wear, Woodbury need to take 20 points from their match at Upottery to have any chance of avoiding the drop into the bottom tier.

They trail Roborough, who beat them last weekend, by 14 points, with Kingskerswell already demoted.

Woodbury will be hoping for a favour from Kilmington, who host the South Devon side tomorrow.

Elsewhere, third-placed Kentisbeare make the trip to fourth-placed Filleigh.
