Charity appeals for volunteers
CREDITON and District Community Transport needs more volunteers to help deliver services for elderly and less mobile people in the Mid Devon.
The group is holding an open afternoon and evening on Thursday, October 4, and invites anybody interested to come along and find out more.
Existing volunteers, trustees and staff members will be on hand to answer questions and to explain what is needed.
The Community Transport team needs people with a wide range of skills, including drivers who are willing to use their own cars to transport elderly and disabled people to hospital and other appointments and somebody to edit and arrange for the distribution of the quarterly newsletter.
