Chief unaware of Liam links
EXETER City manager Paul Tisdale says he is in the dark over speculation linking Liam Sercombe with a move away from the club.
The all-action midfielder has been named as a target for npower Championship new boys Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday so far this summer.
Tisdale said there has been no contact with either club but again admitted he expected rival teams to be keeping tabs on the City youth product.
The manager said: "I haven't heard that speculation but I think people will be very aware of Liam and very aware that he had a very disjointed season last season with injuries.

"They will know how he finished the season on form, and they will know how good a player he was the previous season and how he is still only 22.
"He scored a few goals last year and they (Sercombe's suitors) are probably waiting to see how he gets on in the first month of the season.
"I can do nothing about it. I would be surprised if they are not interested and I think had Liam played a large part of last season we wouldn't have been in the situation we were and I think if he had played a large part of last season he wouldn't still be at the club now.
"I would be amazed if clubs at all levels aren't tracking his progress."
