Chinese delegates are guests of honour
Academics and new media industry professionals from China and the UK took part in the Creative Content for New Media Symposium held at Falmouth University's Performance Centre, last week.
The event was part of the Sino UK HE Symposium which exists to promote higher education collaboration, joint research and dialogues between Chinese and UK universities working in the creative media industry.
The guests of honour were a delegation of Chinese academics, including guest speaker Dr Zhang Zhi'an, dean of the School of Communication and Design at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou.
The strong ties between Falmouth University and Chinese universities were examined by leading academics from both countries, with Adrian Bossey, programme leader of production at Falmouth University, leading a panel discussion on how best to further enhance collaborative working and partnership opportunities.
