City Postbag: Exeter is crying out for a winger

THE Exeter City versus Aldershot game is the worst I have seen City play.

A few of them could not even kick a ball properly. I don't know what the game pattern was that Paul Tisdale was using, but for the whole 90 minutes you could have thrown a dust sheet over the 20 outfield players, it was like watching a five-a-side game.

The game was crying out for a wide player like most games do I have seen.

There is no finer sight in football than seeing a winger beat his full-back and cross.

He said at the start of the season he was going to give the young players a chance. We have hardly seen them.

Paul, please give your getting-smaller-every-game crowd something to be proud of. From a season ticket holder.

The same old story Mr Tisdale who said he was 'pleased with the players' performance' against Aldershot.

Was he indeed?

The supporters didn't seem that impressed. One point out of a possible six, at home, no wonder the fans showed their frustrations.

Of course Mr Tisdale would not consider moving on to a bigger club, he is in a comfort zone at City, as are a few others at St James's Park.

To be fair he has done a good job in the past, but he should consider his future position, for the club's sake.

The current squad of players was the manager's choice so he must take most of the responsibility when they fail to live up to expectations.
