City centre paving is cracked and dirty
READING Cllr Mark Lowry's comments on the dull and uninspiring state of paving in Plymouth and his trumpet blowing of the granite paving in the Armada Way Piazza put in place by the previous Labour Council.
I would suggest he leaves the Council House and take a look at the cracked, loose and damaged paving. A good power wash would not go amiss after the staining left by the ice rink and other things that have used the area. As for tarmac being unacceptable next to the Palace Theatre, I would be more concerned about the state of the building rather than the paving.
Take a look at the paving in the bus station and don't use the old excuse that its going to be redeveloped, it's had the same paving since it was opened in 1953.
