City measures up for weather tour
THE British obsession with the weather was evident by the popularity of a touring experiment that visited Exeter yesterday.
Hosted by Dr Liz Bentley, of the Royal Meteorological Society and the Weather Club, the Great British Weather Experiment, was launched outside the city's Met Office HQ highlighting temperature and rainfall in each region and is designed to mark the arrival of autumn.
