City College Plymouth will host a special presentation event tomorrow, to celebrate an Association of Colleges' Beacon Award win.

The college was announced as an award winner in the category for widening participation among young people aged 14-19, at a ceremony in London last month.

It won the award for its long standing project which offers a range of pre-enrolment programmes for young people who are not in employment, education or training.

Tomorrow's event will be attended by representatives from the local business community, Plymouth's Lord and Lady Mayoress, MPs and councillors.
