Event organiser Roger Mann (pictured), of Torbay Sports Council, said: "The objective really is to celebrate the effect loveLIFE has had on the population of Torbay and to see how much fitter we all are now than before the campaign.
"The programme will be geared towards getting people to come along and find out what sports clubs and activities we have on our doorstep.
"This is a free family event to get local people of all ages to come along and just have some fun for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon.
"It will be a celebration of sport and life in Torbay. There will be free taster sessions with many different activities taking place during the afternoon.
"Torquay United have been wonderfully supportive and they are opening up their bars to supply healthy food and drinks.
"We are hoping there will be aerobics sessions suitable for all different ages, circuit training, rowing machines, zumba dance classes and archery.
"We are planning to have walking football for older people, wheelchair football, youth football teams in the goals and wheelchair dancing."
Cllr Robert Excell, Torbay Council's sports spokesman, said: "What a year it has been for the loveLife campaign.
"We have seen thousands of miles run, lengths swum and weight lost and many people within our communities are now healthier as a result.
"The family event marking the anniversary of the campaign promises to be a day of fun-filled activities and I look forward to seeing everyone there on the day."
loveLIFE partners Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust will have public health stands giving out information about giving up smoking, healthy eating, community fitness and alcohol awareness.
Sanctuary Housing, another loveLIFE sponsor, will also have representatives taking part.
The loveLIFE champions, chosen by campaign supporters Europlas, will also be invited.
Torquay United football club has kindly agreed to host the event and has given the free use of its PA system, large screens, bars and the restaurant will be open providing healthy foods.
Torbay Karate Club and Paignton Sailing Club were among the first to sign up to provide demonstrations and have information stands to boost membership.
Catherine Williams, Torbay Council's community and sports officer, said: "We are expecting a large amount of local people to attend.
"This will be a celebration of sport in Torbay.
"The free taster sessions will include a variety of sports on the main pitch and then a stage with activities provided by instructors from the Riviera International Conference Centre."
Clubs and activities who want to take part should contact Sports@torbay.gov.uk before Friday, March 1.
