NOVEMBER 1983: the closest the world has come to nuclear war. Comedian Joe "Pops" Pooley is headlining his local comedy club, no one's laughing, and then it gets worse.

This is the story of one fateful night in 1983 when Joe, a terrible comedian at the best of times, literally died on stage.

The show is a reconstruction of his final minutes with the audience roped in to play those who were there.

Everyone in the room gets to play someone who was in the club on that fateful night.
