Communities in Exmoor to receive loan for renewable energy schemes
RENEWABLE energy schemes in Exmoor National Park are to be funded by the Exmoor Trust.
The Carbon Neutral Fund is a £26,000 loan being offered to communities to cover the initial cost of small-scale renewable energy projects such as the installation of solar photovoltaic or hot water panels.
They will have to apply and take part in a competitive process, demonstrating that their project is technically sound and will raise awareness of low carbon technologies.
The closing date for funding applications is Friday, November 30.
