Suspended jail conditions breached within days
A MAN looks certain to go to prison after breaching a suspended jail term only days after it was imposed.
Alcoholic David Warwick, aged 46, stole two bottles of vodka from a supermarket less than a week after he was sentenced for a burglary.
Plymouth magistrates sent him back to face a judge to explain why he should not go to jail.
Warwick, of Eight Acres Close in Plympton, admitted theft of vodka worth £36.65 from Waitrose in Saltash on August 5.

He was given an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, for burglary at Plymouth Crown Court the week before. The court heard then that he had taken a laptop computer from another resident's room in a city hostel.
Gareth Warden, for the Crown Prosecution Service told Plymouth magistrates that he had hidden bottles of Absolut vodka up his sleeves in Waitrose.
He added Warwick told police in interview that he was an alcoholic who was not dealing with the problem.
Mr Warden said Warwick had been visiting friends when he found himself near the Tamar Bridge. He decided to walk across and steal from the Saltash supermarket.
Magistrates bailed him unconditionally to appear for sentence at Plymouth Crown Court on December 14.
