Couple quit the RAF and get new jobs in the Navy
A HUSBAND and wife have been reunited in the Royal Navy – after ditching their careers in the RAF.
David and Rachael Edmonds both opted for sea strength after leaving the air force.

David, aged 30, has just completed his initial naval training at HMS Raleigh.
And after 10 weeks apart, Rachael, a Royal Navy Dental Nurse, was one of the guests at her husband's passing-out-parade.

The event was the first-time the couple had met wearing Naval uniform.
David also attended Rachael's passing-out-parade in July, while he was still serving as a RAF corporal.
A former Eggbuckland Community College pupil, he served for 11 years in the RAF before opting for a career change.
He is aiming to become a Royal Navy warfare rating, specialising in hydrography and meteorology.
David said: "I wanted a new challenge, but still in the military and I was interested in the subject matter.
"Rachael and I met while we were serving in the RAF.
"She was in her last year and then went on to train as a dental nurse in civvy street.
"When I said I was going to transfer to the Navy, she decided to join up as well.
"Meeting new comrades and the sense of achievement during the course has been great.
"Initial training has been mentally harder the second time around, but it feels just as good to get to the end."
Rachael, 28, who is originally from Wales, is now serving within the dental department at the Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) at Culdrose in Cornwall.
"It was great to attend the parade and see David in his new number one uniform," she said.
"I was very pleased to have him home for Christmas."
After some well-earned festive leave, the couple have now returned to duty.
While Rachael will head back to Culdrose, David will remain in Plymouth where he will undergo his specialist training at HMS Drake.
