Plymouth couple sought over bottle attack

INVESTIGATORS are hunting a couple after a young man was bottled on a Barbican street.

The 23-year-old victim was walking on Notte Street at around 3.20am on Sunday when he was approached by a man and a woman outside the Barbican Steakhouse.

Without provocation he was punched once in the face and then hit over the back of his head with a glass bottle.

Police believe the woman may have been the main attacker out of the pair.

The victim required hospital treatment for a cut above his eye and to the back of his head.

Detectives said the female suspect was described as white, aged around 20, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, of average build and had shoulder length straight blonde hair. The male attacker was also around 20-years-old, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and slim. He had brown hair which was long around his face.
