Court fines convicted drug dealer £150,000

A Somerset drug dealer has been ordered to pay a confiscation order of £149,194.

James O'Sullivan, of Laburnam Road, Wellington, was told at Taunton Crown Court on Friday that failure to pay the fine could result in an extended jail sentence of a further three years.

He was convicted on June 19 last year of possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of class C drugs.

Officers had found more than 507 grams of cocaine, with a street value of more than £20,000, a further 51 grams of amphetamines with a street value of between £510 and £1,530, as well as £6,785 in cash.
