Creatures great and crawl
A CULM Valley village was invaded by millipedes, cockroaches, spiders and lizards recently – much to the amazement of its younger residents.
Children got up close and personal with a range of exotic creatures at Clyst Hydon Village Hall last week. Neil Vaughan, from the Really Wild Show, Cullompton, holds the interactive and educational experiences for children and their families and only the bravest take the opportunity to hold the mammals, reptiles and invertebrates.
A spokesman for the show said: "The animals that appear with him have all been rescued or given to him by owners who could not care for them properly."
