Fire crews in South Devon have dealt with two separate car fires this afternoon.

The first was reported just after 1.20pm on the A385 at Tigley near Dartington.

Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service said the vehicle was "severely damaged" by the blaze, which was extinguished using one hose reel jet.

The second car fire occurred an hour later at the Recycling Centre at Torr Quarry in Kingsbridge.
